Mental Health Specialist
Paige Holliman M.Ed.,LPC/MHSP
Owner Stable Transformation
Paige is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Mental Health Specialist in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning. She holds both a Masters of Education in Counseling and a Masters of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University and has been in practice for 20 years. In 2007, Paige was offered an apprenticeship in an equine assisted psychotherapy program and became trained in the EAGALA model. By mid 2007, she was leading psychotherapy groups in tandem with an equine specialist and witnessed the transformative and healing power of the horse-human connection.
In 2010, Paige consulted with a treatment center in Memphis, TN to form an equine assisted psychotherapy program which she ran for two years until she decided to build an equine program closer to home. That is where the dream of Stable Transformation began. After over a decade of transforming peoples lives through equine therapy, she is more convinced than ever that no interaction can be more revealing and more forgiving than that of horse and human. This
revelation has given Paige the passion to bring this life changing experience to the Middle Tennessee area.

Why Horses?
Animals have long been proven to help people heal and learn they can have loving and healthy relationships like those found among horses. Horses are unique in that they are large, beautiful and powerful prey animals, yet they seem to enjoy partnering with humans who are natural predators. They are honest, loyal and forgiving and are acutely aware of their environment. They have a finely tuned system of communication and will often mirror a humans feelings, moods and attitudes in both subtle and obvious ways. Horses respond very positively in environments where they feel safe and directed - that is true of most humans as well.
With the assistance of horses and the EAGALA certified professionals, participants are encouraged to connect to the natural relationship and experiences horses provide.
Every aspsect of the program encourages the client to be challenged and understand the consequences of their actions.
